[There's the sound of a pencil tapping against a piece of paper. Someone's stuck trying to do a school assignment when he really doesn't want to. School's...pretty much the last thing on his mind at the moment. Instead, he's been listening to the various voices and messages over the network about what's been going on outside. It's unnerving is what it is, but it doesn't stop him from asking the real question on his mind.]

...so, what does it take to get chosen to head out there and fight? And even if there isn't an answer, what do you think?

Also, SOS Brigade. Report in, tell me your progress on things. [Yes, purposely vague. Somebody hasn't been taking his role as President very serious lately.]

Progress...? I've set up electricity over in the rec center. It was something Haruki had mentioned to me before.

Did he mention anywhere else, Leon? It's a good start. The more places with electricity, the more options we have.

No, he didn't; his priority was the rec center. [So he could take it over, but let's not go there.] But if you have suggestions, I'm open to them, Taichi. I planned on installing some outlets in the barracks once I have enough materials again.

The tunnels. I was able to salvage some wires and bulbs attached to the light fixtures, but it's kinda hit or miss. No one is going to miss a few lights down there.

Man...has anybody ever told you you're really crafty when you want to be? That's awesome. I think we need to make a list of places a lot of people hang out that don't have electricity yet before we waste good material.
