[Child-logic says that since he can't send it to her, and he doesn't really remember her address anyway, he'll just glue it down to his journal for his own personal amusement.]

January first...new year. Let's make this a better one then! Today's a good start already, right?

So hey, name something you want to get done in the next year, I'm curious. Me? I'm still figuring that out, I want to do a lot.

[And despite the fresh snow, Taichi's currently up in his tree house just lounging around and probably writing more postcards for his own amusement. Just in case.]

The Digital World's time moves a lot faster than Earth's, I think it's like a day there equals a minute or a second or something in our own time, so our time we weren't missing for longer than half an hour maybe before we got to go home the first time. But the second time we were there for even longer, maybe two or three months. We were about to go home but like I said, somehow I ended up here.

I kind of wish Koushiro didn't leave, he'd have a better answer.

But if time moved faster in that Digital World, and you were there for a couple of months... Wouldn't you be a couple of months older when you returned to your own world?

I don't think so. I think it's like here when they said that we just go back to the same place in time whenever we do return. We felt a lot older, but I don't think we ever were.

Oh, I get it. So how did you arrive in that Digital World? Were you kidnapped to that place too?

You could say that. We were just seven kids at summer camp when we got pulled through this huge rift and landed in the Digital World. Later we found out it was because we were the Chosen and that were were the only ones who could save the world. Our Digimon partners had been waiting for us to show up for a long time. For a really long time we couldn't leave because we had to fight the bad guys and there wasn't a gateway home.

...okay, actually, there was one time I managed to get home just for a couple of hours and then I went back, and a while later we figured out how to open a gateway back to Earth because we had to go chase down Vamdemon and beat him, too. And we had to find the eighth Chosen, but it turned out to be my little sister so it wasn't that bad, but even after beating Venom Vamdemon, our job wasn't over and we had to go back again to keep fighting the Dark Masters.

So...yeah. That's the short story.

[Half of that went straight over Vyse's head. And he even read it twice. You lost him at "summer camp", Tai.]

That sounds like an amazing tale!

[That's usually what happens, but it really doesn't bother him. The kid just likes to talk.]

It really was, it was awesome! Well, most of the time. The parts where we lost a lot of our friends and almost died weren't fun, but we did a lot of good for the Digital World.
