Hey, all of you guys who know how to actually use a sword! Anybody up for a sparring match? I need to get better with this thing eventually.

Haruhi, the spirits are still ignoring me so I give up. For those of you who are good at that sort of thing, how'd you get them to really talk to you? The only one who really listens to me is Nala...she's nice, and healing magic helps, but I want to learn more anyway.

Man, nearly two years in this place and I still can't get it.

[He's going to leave his journal open, but in between responses, he'll be going over some training movements with the sword he's acquired. Jack Sparrow has taught him well...and Sparrow's taught him some other things, too.]

Yeah, but--[Wait. Wait, it's probably better not to confuse Tear by explaining that she used to be a he but then came back to Luceti as a she and not remembering she was a he. Sheesh.] Yeah. Haruhi and I are pretty close, I guess. I'm the Vice Chief of the SOS Brigade. Well, Deputy Vice Chief now that Rena's back in the club, too, but still. I didn't know you spoke with her already.

[Yeeeah it'd probably be best to not confuse her with that, Luceti itself is still taking some getting used to without thinking about gender-swapped leaders.] We spoke once before, she briefly brought up the Brigade and how I was a part of it last time I was here.

Yeah, she's right. You were pretty helpful with advertising. [It's also probably best not to mention that Haruki had her wear a bunny costume and parade around with signs.] Did she try to get you to rejoin?

...you totally should. It'd be great having you back, especially since spring's soon. We start doing a lot of our big stuff in spring and summer.

I've though about it, though I'm still not sure whether I should. Not that I mind helping out the rest of the village when it's needed.

...I would be, too. But I spend a lot of my time doing Brigade stuff anyway.

Anytime. [It's what he's hoping for at any rate. Even though Tear was gone for a long time, Taichi wouldn't mind rekindling that friendship despite the fact she doesn't remember. Oh well. That's never stopped him before.]
