Twelfth Flame-[Accidental Voice/Action]

[Early in the morning, Taichi's wandered to the back of House #48 after searching the rest of town and his own tree house. He sits on the ground and more than anything, he sounds frustrated]

DAMN IT, NOT AGAIN!

[takes the ball] Ready? [doesn't even wait for an answer before throwing the ball in the air and waiting for it to land. When it hits the ground he takes control and starts kicking it toward the right goal]

[he's supposed to... get in the way, right? Minato quickly decides playing with his hands in his pockets is a bad idea and moves to intercept.]

[okay Minato now start running. See if you can stop him because Taichi's pretty close to the goal and he's getting ready to strike the ball and send it flying through the trees]

[Minato's had plenty of practice running places but not so much with retrieving a ball from a kid. He also doesn't want to completely knock Taichi over... so overall he's probably getting there too late.]

[Pff, Taichi's been knocked over enough it doesn't even matter but since nothing's stopping him he'll keep running. Thus, the ball sails through the make-shift goal of trees and bounces off of a different tree, landing a little away]

[He'd still feel bad if he caused it. :< Minato's not pausing after the goal though, heading to retrieve the ball before Taichi can. He's going to play this seriously.]

[Taichi notices that Minato's actually taking it serious now and starts running to retrieve the ball, missing it shortly after Minato takes possession of it]

[and he's heading for your goal now. He hasn't completely gotten the hang of dribbling.]

[running along the side now and just as Minato gets close, he steals the ball away and turns around to run the other way]

[oh it's on kid. He quickly overtakes Taichi (good thing for longer legs even though he's still short) and tries to find an opening to snatch the ball back again.]

[the thing is, he's spent a lot of time running from things bigger than him so Taichi increases speed to just enough to make Minato actually work for the ball]

[Minato's done a lot of running through Tartarus himself, so a bit more work isn't going to kill him. He cuts in to try and steal the ball away, then turn back for Tai's goal.]

[Minato takes the ball from him and Taichi's obviously surprised the other boy managed to do so because he lets out a confused noise before running back toward his own goal to try and stop Minato from scoring]

[He knows that if he keeps the ball for too long Taichi will just steal it again. That means he needs another plan. The goal is still a fair distance away, but Minato puts all his power behind a kick, hopefully to send the ball through the goal trees before Taichi can intercept.]

[and he watches the ball sail through the goal and Minato scores. He quickly runs past him though to retrieve the ball and starts going the other way]

[And Minato chases after him. It looks like this is going to end up a close match.]

[well at least he's found a worthy adversary so Taichi works harder to outrun Minato, getting closer and closer to the goal before bringing his leg back and kicking with all his might, hoping that being the best striker on his team at home is enough to make the ball sail through Minato's goal]

[He doesn't make it in time to block, so just keeps running to retrieve the ball. Is the back-and-forth going to continue?]

[oh yeah, probably. Right now Taichi needs one goal to "win" and Minato needs two so they'll keep going back-and-forth until somebody wins]

[Which will likely be Tai at this point. He just has more practice.]

[and after a little more back-and-forth, we'll say Taichi finally wins but Minato's close behind. Taichi retrieves the ball and tosses it around in his hands] Not bad!
