[well some of the residents in Luceti might notice Taichi standing at the edge of the village, mini-telescope in hand and staring out at the mountains with an excited grin on his face.]

Awesome, today's the perfect day to go out and climb those mountains! [he pockets the telescope and stretches his arms over his head, looking back at the village slightly impatient] As soon as Daisuke and Hikari get here we can go. Hurry up guys, I wanna get going before the sun starts to go down!

Oh and Daisuke, you can bring V-Mon and Hikari, Takeru said he was busy with school and couldn't join us so it looks like it's just the three of us now.

But it might just be me if you guys don't hurry up and get here! Let's go!

[And so, Taichi begins to pace back and forward waiting for his sister and his friend. Anybody passing by in the village is free to talk to him before he leaves on his adventure]

If you're going out on a trip that will take more than a few hours, you need to make sure that proper supplies are in order. Taichi-san did any of your other friends bring them? Ummm...Hikari might have? I guess I forgot, I always relied on Jyou to bring everything and make sure we had enough stuff. [isn't quite sure what to do because there's robot-mom in his personal space and he's not sure how to make her stop lecturing D:]

[gooood Aegis, please to be distracted so Taichi stops feeling awkward] Man I wish Jyou was here, it'd be funny to watch him react to having wings. But I don't think he is...neither is the rest of my team, except Hikari and Takeru and they're bigger now. Hikari's my little sister, Takeru's my friend Yamato's little brother.

Well I mean...um...Luceti did something really weird when we got here. It messed up our timelines and everything. Where I came from, Hikari was only eight years old but where she came from, she's around my age now instead of being younger see? [Taichi's probably about the same height since he's still a little boy, so having to say his baby sister's bigger bruises his ego a lot more than it should :|]

[Hopefully Robot-Mom being his same height doesn't bruise it too 8|] That is understandable. Ryoji-kun is from an earlier point in our timeline where... Minato-san and I seem to be at roughly the same point.

[nah, he can deal with that :|b] Really? That's so weird isn't it? Everybody I know that was younger than me is suddenly my age here. Hikari, Takeru, and Daisuke, all three of them are supposed to be three years younger but now we're all the same age.

Daisuke said that three years from now when I'm 14 he becomes the new leader but I still help a lot. I'm like his mentor.

Yup. That's where we were before I got pulled into Luceti.

.. ... So it is another world that Taichi-san and his friends were in that was not Japan.

Uh huh. We all lived in Japan and then one day at camp seven of us were pulled from there into this other world, the Digital World and everything was completely made of data and we were partnered up with different Digimon and we were supposed to save the world. Eventually we learned that there was an eighth child that was needed to save the world so we had to go back to Earth, back to Japan to find them. Turned out it was my sister all along. Once Hikari met her partner we went back to the Digital World and we had to fight all of these monsters in order to save the Digital World and our own world too.

No. Daisuke's just showed up I guess but none of the others are here.

[oddly enough, doesn't mind that there's a hand on his head now] Hikari said that it's better they're not here so they don't have to be going through what we're going through, but it's easier for her to say that because all of her friends with the same memories are here. All of the friends that I have here know more than I do.
