[At first, there's the sound of a lot of shuffling like someone trying to grab the journal but they can't quite pick it up. After a bit of struggling, there's a loud thump of the sound of something hitting the floor with said-journal. There's a bit of grumbling, but not much.

And though the words are clearly angry, the voice that's speaking them is so high-pitched that it's probably just laughable.]

This isn't what I had in mind when I said I missed seeing the monsters!

[BUT Taichi's older and more used to it ANYWAY so it's easier on him. :(] ...'kay fine. So you're Taichi. [There's a bit of a brisk huff in his voice now because even though you're cool and everything Tai, he wants Chibimon.]

[There's age in terms of number, and then age in terms of maturity. Taichi's got a lot of age on Daisuke.] It's probably an experiment or something. That stuff happens all the time.

[See, now that's fine. The problem is just if Daisuke will remember this is indeed Taichi and not Chibimon.] Not really? It just feels really weird, like you can't quite stretch yourself out enough or run fast enough. Falling really hurt though.

[THAT part's probably going to trip him up a lot.] It sounds like you're just hungry, if you ask me. Chibimon always said he was super-slow first thing in the morning. Grumpy sometimes, too.

[Taichi is not pleased :|] I'm not grumpy...but I am kinda hungry. What do we have left anyway?

Uhhh I dunno... I can make something! [At least Chibimon always appreciated his cooking! Maybe being Chibimon will make Taichi want to eat his food more. :D]

[It's comfortable and familiar and then they're OFF TO THE KITCHEN to make a big fat mess! There's going to be pots and pasta involved, like most of Daisuke's culinary adventures.]

[Is this ramen? BECAUSE TAICHI WILL EAT RAMEN AND LOTS OF IT. For now he's going to enjoy the free ride, probably at some point crawling up to Daisuke's head to watch.] You're taking this really well.

[IT MIGHT BE RAMEN. ~~It's totally always ramen.~~] Why shouldn't I? It's something that happened to you, not me. And it'll be over soon anyway, right? [AND IT MEANS CHIBIMON'S HEEEERE<33333333 ]

[At least Taichi is hungry.] I hope so, but still. I'd be weirded out if you were suddenly Agumon, I think. [Not that he minds being Chibimon much, but still. He shouldn't be.]

Oh. I mean. I guess it's weird if you stop to think about it. But why stop to think about something that weird?

[He tugs some of the noodles from his pot and gives them a hearty toss into the air, moving in a kind of box step as he attempts to position Chibimon's face underneath the incoming raining ramen.]

[Food! Taichi likes this game, and he's moving his head a little to catch the noodles, happily slurping them up.]

[It's a good game to be liking! Daisuke sends up two more handfuls after the first, grinning madly at the little slurpy noises Chibim--Taichi is making. It's going to be a long week, trying to keep that straight.]

[Om nom nom. Taichi is pleased that he's being fed, and that's all he cares about. Hell, Daisuke can keep calling him Chibimon, fine by him.] Awesome shot dude!

Thanks!! Heads up, there's more coming! [Because all meals are better when they come in the form of a game. It's awesome having Chibimon back, even if it's weird and warped and not totally right. Chibimon gets him.]

[Daisuke might feel some crawling going on on top of his head, but that's just ChibiTaimon chasing the ramen noodles. Except oops that bunch accidentally missed his mouth and landed on Daisuke's head.] ...whoops.

[Daisuke pauses as the sloppy wet feeling slides on top of his head, then bursts into another giggling fit.] Aww, you missed! [But food is food, so he's just going to reach up to collect the noodles and slurp them down himself. No sense letting anything go to waste.]
