Thirty-Fourth Flame-[voice]

[At first, there's the sound of a lot of shuffling like someone trying to grab the journal but they can't quite pick it up. After a bit of struggling, there's a loud thump of the sound of something hitting the floor with said-journal. There's a bit of grumbling, but not much.

And though the words are clearly angry, the voice that's speaking them is so high-pitched that it's probably just laughable.]

This isn't what I had in mind when I said I missed seeing the monsters!

I never asked. [Or rather, she didn't know about it before to even ask.] She mentioned cats though.

She said they were great to talk to. [A pause.] And that there was one cat she used to talk to who can reply back.

...Tailmon, I bet. That means Kari's changed, too.

Tailmon's her digimon partner. She looks like a cat.

Oh. Yeah, that'd be it. A lot of the digimon just look like animals from Earth with different features. Tailmon looked like a cat except her tail was longer than the rest of her body, she had purple tips on her ears and tail, and she wore these huge gloves.

Isn't it hard for a cat to walk around with gloves?

Not when she walks on two legs.

It's a race in my world, basically they walk and talk like us but they look like cats.

[Voice]

[identity profile] thekeytocourage.livejournal.com 2010-08-23 01:30 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah? Are they really common in your world?

[Voice]

[identity profile] 300yrswandering.livejournal.com 2010-08-23 01:32 am (UTC)(link)
They're like any other race, you'll find them in certain continents.

[identity profile] 300yrswandering.livejournal.com 2010-08-23 01:43 am (UTC)(link)
They're not animals. They're like humans, elves or dwarves. They just look different, that's all.

Oh. [...what.] Okay that's a little weird.

[Voice]

[identity profile] 300yrswandering.livejournal.com 2010-08-23 01:51 am (UTC)(link)
Not any weirder than evolving monsters.

[Voice]

[identity profile] thekeytocourage.livejournal.com 2010-08-23 01:53 am (UTC)(link)
True. Maybe we should just go with the idea that everybody's world is weird.

[She snickers.] That works for me.
