Thirty-Fourth Flame-[voice]

[At first, there's the sound of a lot of shuffling like someone trying to grab the journal but they can't quite pick it up. After a bit of struggling, there's a loud thump of the sound of something hitting the floor with said-journal. There's a bit of grumbling, but not much.

And though the words are clearly angry, the voice that's speaking them is so high-pitched that it's probably just laughable.]

This isn't what I had in mind when I said I missed seeing the monsters!

[Oh. Crap. Yeah, Taichi'd almost forgotten about Chibimon being Daisuke's partner. Almost.]

Daisuke! Daisuke, where are you? [Because it might be easier to explain his dilemma if he sees the other boy face to face.]

It'll probably be easier for me to find you where you are!! What's around you? [Because right now he's kind of just running around the square keeping a lookout for anything small and blue and partner-shaped.]

A bed...and the desk. [Because your not!partner fell on the floor. Probably on his face.] I'm at the apartment.

Wait you know which apartment is the right one? --Of course you do!! You're Chibimon!! How long have you been here? [Annnd redirecting back toward the apartment. Squee~!]

A while. [Because it's better just to keep things simple for now.] I've been waiting for you to come back here.

You got it, Pal! Be right there!!! [And since he's launching into a sprint right now, it's not an unreasonable estimate.]

[Not gonna answer because he's fairly sure that by the time he does, Daisuke will be home anyway. So instead, he's going to work on dragging his journal out to the main room to wait for him. Stupid heavy book. Stupid baby body. This is frustrating.]

[He lets himself in without bothering to close the door because] CHIBIMOOOOOOOOOOOOON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [And before there's much Taichi can do to protest, Daisuke's plucked him off the floor and delivered a proper hug.]

[Yeah no, no room to protest because the life. It is literally being squished out of him and there's a startled squeak as he squirms a little.] Nice to see you too.

How've you been, buddy?? When did you get here?? Did Taichi let you in?

Um...Daisuke? You might want to sit down.

'Kay! [He flops down on the couch with Chibimon still settled in his lap.]

[He turns around in Daisuke's lap and stares up at him.]

Here's the thing...I'm not exactly Chibimon.

What do you mean? You've got Chibimon's face and his ears and his eyes and his tail and his chubby little belly! [There's some casual tickling after he says that, which would hopefully lead to some good wrestling if Chibimon's up for it!]

[He was about to protest that but ajfkldsa ticklish Digi-belly makes it hard to do anything other than giggle and roll over.] H-hey! Quit that! [But he pokes back anyway.]

[Daisuke's grin grows wider in response to the poking, and before long he's giggling in time with the digimon. WHY ARE YOU SO AWESOME, CHIBIMON? He's missed this game HARDCORE.]

[Because all Digimon are awesome. Well except the bad guys. Not so awesome. Still Chibim--no. Taichi. You are Taichi, just remember that. He's going to keep it up as long as Daisuke does, because it's a competition and he refuses to lose! ...and because it's kind of funny.]

[Everybody wins in a tickle battle!! Though he can only maintain that level of immaturity for a short burst before flopping down sideways and hooking his knees over the arm of the couch.] I missed you tons, Chibimon. It's gonna be awesome filling you in! You wouldn't believe some of the stuff that goes on here!

[And Taichi's just going to sit on his stomach/chest to stare at him.] Daisukeeee. That's the point, I need to tell you something.
