Thirty-third Flame-[Voice]

[Don't mind him, he just sounds a liiittle panicky and he's mumbling to himself at first.]

First Takuya, then Koichi, then Guilmon and Takato on the same day and then Kari disappeared and I thought they sent her home but she's here but--[Here his voice gets a little louder, and he's addressing the public.]

Okay, I need the best way to wake somebody up. Now.

The youth today--

[Just sort of on some kind of weird hypocritical soapbox now.]

The youth today got no sense of propriety.
all7seas: (persuasion)

[personal profile] all7seas 2010-07-14 03:47 pm (UTC)(link)
Propriety is that thing you ignore when you go about serving wine to nine-year-old girls, or when you neglect to wear breeches, or when you break into the pie shop.

...

Other people. When other people who aren't me at all break into the pie shop.

[identity profile] goggle-syndrome.livejournal.com 2010-07-14 03:54 pm (UTC)(link)
I thought that was your conscience.

Who broke into a pie shop, and why didn't I know about it?
all7seas: (guilty as charged)

[personal profile] all7seas 2010-07-14 04:19 pm (UTC)(link)
Nah--conscience is what tells you right from wrong, eh? Best to ignore that one. No, propriety is what's proper, and certain things just aren't accepted by Proper Persons.

The identities of the dashing and heroic band of gentlemen-thieves has not yet come to light, though there has been talk of punishing them quite severely...

[identity profile] goggle-syndrome.livejournal.com 2010-07-15 02:06 am (UTC)(link)
I guess that makes enough sense. Somehow.

Why would you punish somebody for pie though?
all7seas: (hmmmm....)

[personal profile] all7seas 2010-07-15 02:53 am (UTC)(link)
I am not sure about that, lad; it seems that some folk around Luceti frown upon petty crimes. What else are we meant to do when it's near impossible to commit regular crimes?

[identity profile] goggle-syndrome.livejournal.com 2010-07-15 05:53 am (UTC)(link)
Since everybody's constantly on watch, nothing. This goes back to you hating heroes or whatever, doesn't it?
all7seas: (come again?)

[personal profile] all7seas 2010-07-15 10:30 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't hate heroes, lad. Important point, there. Probably wouldn't be standing here before you if I hadn't run into a few heroes along the way, as it were. Bloody bastards can't get out of their own WAY as a rule, but that don't mean I hate 'em.

[identity profile] goggle-syndrome.livejournal.com 2010-07-16 03:01 am (UTC)(link)
Just how many heroes have you crossed paths with anyway?
all7seas: (considering/sad)

[personal profile] all7seas 2010-07-16 03:41 am (UTC)(link)
Too many. Far too many.

[identity profile] goggle-syndrome.livejournal.com 2010-07-16 03:51 am (UTC)(link)
You mentioned a guy named Will last time. Who is he?
all7seas: (but you have heard of me)

[personal profile] all7seas 2010-07-16 03:54 am (UTC)(link)
Will Turner is Captain of a legendary ship, the Flyin' Dutchman. He's yay big, is obsessed with swords, and can be talked into almost anything. Typical hero, really.

[identity profile] goggle-syndrome.livejournal.com 2010-07-16 04:05 am (UTC)(link)
He's a hero and he's a pirate? [Does not compute suddenly.]
all7seas: (come again?)

[personal profile] all7seas 2010-07-16 04:09 am (UTC)(link)
Aye. And a good man. Just a bit on the stupid side is all, at times.
all7seas: (Default)

[personal profile] all7seas 2010-07-16 07:39 pm (UTC)(link)
Well do you have an hour or so, lad? Stupid how? I suppose it all boils down to the fact that he never suspects people he calls friends of double-crossing him. When, in all honestly, those are usually the people who do such things.

[identity profile] goggle-syndrome.livejournal.com 2010-07-17 02:11 am (UTC)(link)
So what, he trusts people too easily? The world's not as full of double-crossers as some people make it out to be.
all7seas: (Arrr!)

[personal profile] all7seas 2010-07-17 03:30 am (UTC)(link)
Trusts to the point of death. Numerous, multiple times. Yet the ladies love him, don't they? Explain THAT one to me!

[identity profile] goggle-syndrome.livejournal.com 2010-07-17 04:41 am (UTC)(link)
Most girls love heroes. There's no explanation to it.

Whoa, he's died multiple times?
all7seas: (say what?)

[personal profile] all7seas 2010-07-17 05:51 pm (UTC)(link)
No, lad--point of death. Very different than actual death. Always spins on his heel at the point of death and sallies off to meet death at another, separate point.

[identity profile] goggle-syndrome.livejournal.com 2010-07-18 12:47 am (UTC)(link)
What's the point of that? [He thinks he gets it, but he wants to make sure.]
all7seas: (exCUSE me?)

[personal profile] all7seas 2010-07-18 01:11 am (UTC)(link)
Well now we're right back to where we started: stupid, lad. He's stupid.

[identity profile] goggle-syndrome.livejournal.com 2010-07-18 04:40 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, he kind of sounds it now that you put it that way. But brave anyway.
