[Don't mind him, he just sounds a liiittle panicky and he's mumbling to himself at first.]

First Takuya, then Koichi, then Guilmon and Takato on the same day and then Kari disappeared and I thought they sent her home but she's here but--[Here his voice gets a little louder, and he's addressing the public.]

Okay, I need the best way to wake somebody up. Now.

[It'll probably be around ten minutes.]

[It's cool, he's busy just flipping out still over the journals, but as soon as Raine does turn up she'll find Taichi in a chair next to where he has Hikari on her bed still unconscious.]

[Up the stairs, there's the apartment. Letting herself in and immediately heading to the room to find them.]

... I'm here. What's going on?

[He doesn't sound very happy, definitely worried.]

She won't wake up no matter what.

[She moves to the girl's side to check her over.] Why don't you start from the beginning, Taichi?

[He's scooting forward until he's sitting on the edge of his chair.] I was coming home from working on something at my tree house and I found her just dumped outside of the building, just like this. I brought her up here but she wouldn't respond to me at all. And she still won't, and it's been a few days and I don't know what to do and I don't want to take her to the clinic if I don't have to.

A few days...

And she was fine before then? No signs of anything being wrong?

Totally fine, I even saw her earlier that morning and she seemed okay. And then I didn't see her all day, and I came back and found her like that.

You were hoping she would just come out of it on her own, weren't you? So the time passed... I'm sorry, I should have been checking in on you.

Yeah...I wanted to try to fix it myself. That's why I didn't call you earlier.

So what do you think it is?

... I'm not certain. She doesn't seem to be injured at all, and something like this seems as if it would be caused by a head injury of some kind, but there aren't any signs of that. She does have a slight fever, however... was she out in the rain?

[He's thinking for a minute...yeah, it did rain this weekend so he nods his head and just watching Raine do her examination.] So...she's just sick?

If it were only just that, she'd be awake by now. Something must have happened when she was outside. Are you certain she hadn't been acting strangely before this?

...I don't really know. [He's a little embarrassed to admit that.] I've been kind of busy with everything that I haven't watched her as closely as I should have been.

Hm...

From what I've gathered, some people seemed to be exceedingly prone to being busy, while others have been prone to sleeping a lot. Even though, this seems too extreme, even for that.

... Have you been taking care of yourself? Where is Daisuke?

...yeah, I noticed the busy thing too. Not the sleeping thing though, but some other girl said she was having a dream for a few days.

I'm fine. Daisuke's on his way home now.

My housemates had been sleeping a little more than usual. Well. It was normal for one of them, anyway.

... Taichi. [He gets a scrutinizing look at the 'I'm fine'.]

But they're all awake now, right?

[He shifts in his seat. He knows what that tone means.] Raine?

That's right. But this is... hm. I can try a few spells, but I don't know how effective they'll be if we aren't certain of the cause.

Would you like to run that by me again? The part where you've been looking after yourself these past few days.

It's not dangerous to try them, is it?

[Grumbling under his breath a little, he focuses on Hikari.] No, because you heard me.

No, not at all. We just need to be prepared for the fact that it might not be enough right now.

That's what I thought.

What do you mean? [To all of that, really.]

[And she's going to start casting now. One at a time, to see if anything works-] Recover.

[Well, what can he do other than just wait? He's going to watch Raine work and be patient.]
